Hi, I'm Lorna, a professional dance teacher and mum to two beautiful boys. I have danced all my life, as a student, performer and teacher. During the last 10 years I have focused on teaching, sharing my love and passion of dance with my students.

 

I trained full time at the renowned Bird College of Dance and Performance, where I gained a BA (Hons) in Dance and Musical Theatre Performance. Upon graduating, I toured the world performing with Carnival Cruise Lines, and then went on to perform in a variety of shows after returning to the UK.

 

After dancing professionally, I went on to re-train as a teacher and received my Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), as well as gaining my Diploma in Dance Education (DDE), with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Teaching is where I found my true passion in life. I have worked along side various performing arts schools, and full-time colleges as a teacher and course designer/leader. I have also worked for a specialist adult dance centre, where I developed my love for teaching adults.
